I have two trips in the works. The previously discussed Bonne Terre Trip:https://docs.google.com/
The Tellico Planes trip would be a combination, tent camping/cabin camping/diving/hiking trip to Tennessee. Dives would be at loch low-minn dive resort. There is also a place to go on an underground boat cave tour to America's largest underground lake (Craighead Caverns) if anyone is interested in spelunking. This place has an underground overnight wild cave tour which would be REALLY cool! I did one in Mammoth caves last fall and I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't claustrophobic! If you're interested in this then Google "Lost Sea Adventure" for details. We would like to do 3 nights, 4 days some time in July. If you are interested, then vote on the dates in the above poll question and fill out your information on the Tellico Planes spreadsheet. The Tellico Planes trip is by far more affordable!!! But, if there is enough interest in both trips then we can do both! :)
From April. 1, 2013 to April. 9, 2013 our club members, family and friends worked together to defeat the World Record for the longest continual dive by a group of divers in a contained environment. The last record was set at 6 days and 21 hours, and we went for 7 days to beat that record.
The record ended at 3:30am Apr. 9!
Thank you to all that helped in this event (UT Staff, WXUT, Syntech, Aqua Hut, Deep Blue Adventures, etc.)
At the end of the day, it was totally worth it, despite all the hard work. Congrats to DiveUT!
